Getting ready to check out some of our great events and daily programs? We can’t wait to see you!

You may be wondering what you need to bring to a place such as ours, but we promise it’s easy. We suggest bringing a spare change of clothes, which can be conveniently stored in our cubby area, and we ask that you bring a pair of indoor shoes if you don’t like sandy toes.

We’re not just a sand pit for the kiddos to play in – we offer programs to get the whole family involved! We’re always coming up with new ideas and expanding our programs, so check back often to see what’s new at The Sand Zone.

Kids

Indoor Beach Volleyball!!!

Introducing Grande Prairie’s first indoor beach volleyball facility! Come and enjoy our two indoor courts!!

Court rental is just $20 per hour per court.

Host a Beachy Event in our Sport Building!!

Sport Facility Rental is $250 for the first 2 hours and then $100 for each additional hour.

Summer 2026 Summer Camps

Ages 6 to 12 (we will consider age 5 if they are close to turning 6 and independent)

Monday-Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm

We ask parents sign their children in and out at the front desk so we can ensure everyone is accounted for. 

Half Day Morning #1 9:00am-12:30pm

Half Day Afternoon #2 1:00pm-4:30pm

PRICING

Full Week – full day – $250            Full week – half day – $150

Single day – full day – $60              Single day – half day – $40

What To Bring:
– A Water Bottle with your child’s name written on it
– A spare change of clothes – we plan on getting sandy and playing hard all day!
– Running Shoes (we have 20+ acres of land for us to explore and go on adventure walks!)
– Sunscreen and a Hat (weather permitting we are outside)
– Lunch and a snack
– A smile and an exciting attitude!

At The Sand Zone, we  believe in unstructured play, exploring, and using their imagination! We will be planning themed days for camps as well as going on scavenger hunts and exploring in the field behind us, we also will be doing daily crafts for kiddos to have fun getting creative.

Summer 2025 Volleyball Skills Camps

Every week in July and August, (if enough interest) facilitated by local volleyball players with coaching experience and years of experience.

Cost is just $250/week (the holiday week in Aug is $200)

Alternating weeks for age groups 8-12 and 12-16

Great for learning and improving all volleyball skills and prepping for next years tryouts!!

We are hosting  a Ziggitty Zag Family Fun Run Spring 2026!!!

We have 1 k, 2.5 k and 5 k options available, start time is 11 am, and there will be family fun games available for runners and spectators as well as chili and buns available following the run!!
